Alicja Seledec is an independent curator and art writer from Poland and is currently based in Brooklyn. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in History of Art and Architecture at the University of Barcelona with a concentration in contemporary curation.

Her curatorial work spans intuitive and research-based procedures. She focuses on artists who explore themes of the body, identity, and politics in projects that prioritize collaboration and community engagement. She was the Lead Curator at the Chicago Grand Gallery and developed various curatorial projects in collaboration with Fulton Street Collective, Bridgeport Art Center, and the Research House of Asian Art.

She produces a range of art writing, from criticism and reviews to satire and academic research. Her work has been published in the Posttraumatic, Chicago Reader, and Sixty Inches From Center.
